The growth of the metaverse and digital design is opening up new avenues of creativity and connectivity in the fashion industry. Inspired by the ocean and digital daydream.
The concept: designing for both the physical world and the metaverse, this story explores fluid, pastel dreamscapes. It is also inspired by the underwater world, but reimagined in a feminine, ultra-sensory way.
Textiles & materials: translucent silk and tulle mimic the fluidity of water, and also have a cosmic appeal that can be enhanced by color gradients.
Colour: dreamy, silvery pastels offer pearlescent shine, and can be contrasted with a shadowy palette of blues and grey for more surreal look.
